Recently we assisted many local businesses in moving to locations that have provided them expanded opportunities. They are wisely using this down time to expand and reposition their businesses affordably, and in locations that will poise them for economic growth when the current cycle moves upward.

49er Communications, Inc., specializing in two-way radio’s sales and service, relocated and expanded their business operations to 200 Commercial Street, Nevada City.
Verizon Wireless Store, the most profitable U.S. wireless company, relocated their existing location in the
K-mart Center to 117 W. McKnight Way.
Grass Valley Sign, the largest full service sign shop in Nevada County, relocated from Loma Rica Drive to 13321 Grass Valley Avenue.
Union Local 39, Stationary Engineers, representing several municipalities, purchased a 5,000 sq. ft. office condominium for their regional offices in Auburn on Fortune Court. The purchase price was $1,150,000.
Northbrook Financial, LLC has been leasing in downtown Auburn for over four years. They purchased a condominium on Racquet Club Drive for $360,000 for use as company headquarters for it’s financial planning offices.
Whittington Electric, a local electrical contractor, purchased two 1,800 sq. ft. industrial condos in
Auburn selling for $455,000. The
industrial condos will serve as Whittington Electric’s new headquarters.
South Pine Café expanded their locations into the Auburn market opening at 660 Auburn Folsom Road.
Sierra Nevada Miners Hospital Physical Hand Therapy moved to the WestAmerica Bank building on Brunswick Road and expanded into an open and inviting 3,200 sq. ft. facility.
All Aquatics moved to a high visibility location at the intersection of Brunswick Road, the freeway off ramp, and Maltman Drive allowing them to expand their retail services and become a prominent business in the busy Brunswick Basin.
The Foothill Trader moved to the Longs Drugs area above the Grapevine Bistro.
Spa Blends relocated to 124 Clydesdale Court expanding both their retail and warehouse operations.
Beads Galore & More relocated to the high traffic Longs Center, adjacent to Flour Garden, expanding their retail area and increasing exposure to their business by a significant margin.
Christopher’s Catering & Old World Deli moved to 206 W. Main Street, Grass Valley adjacent to the Holbrooke Hotel. They are bringing new life to their location, expanding their services and providing a desired delicatessen for the downtown.
